Verifying benefits does not guarantee payment by your insurance plan. We’ll share everything we learn so you can make an informed decision.
Be prepared
What to have ready
Having these items ready helps us verify your benefits quickly:
- Your child’s insurance card (a photo of the front and back)
- A referral or prescription from your child’s doctor, if your plan requires one
- Previous evaluations or therapy reports, if available (for example, from school, early intervention, or another provider)
Not sure what your plan requires? Call us, and we’ll explain what to request from your child’s doctor.

How it works
How the process usually works
We’ll verify your benefits and explain your coverage in plain language. Some plans also need a doctor’s referral or prior authorization first. See how getting started works →
Private pay
Paying privately
No insurance, your plan isn’t listed, or you prefer not to use insurance? Private pay is available.
- Affordable treatment packages
- Individual services
- Payment plans
No doctor’s referral is needed for private pay. Private-pay families do not need to wait for insurance approval. Once the evaluation is complete, therapy can be scheduled based on your child’s needs and appointment availability.
Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or paying out of pocket, we provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before services begin, as required by the federal No Surprises Act. Learn about your rights (CMS) →

We are out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. We’ll call to verify whether your child’s plan includes out-of-network benefits and let you know what we find.
Does my plan need prior authorization?
It depends on the plan. Some plans require prior authorization, and sometimes your child’s doctor submits it. Because every plan is different, we’ll explain what yours needs over the phone.

What if my plan isn’t listed?
Private pay is available, including treatment packages, individual services, and payment plans.
